Happy Father's Day, Dad!
When it comes to being a great father you are at the top! As those who read this will learn, when it came to you and I having a father/son relationship it was purely a matter of choice. We chose to have a relationship with each other. And I believe we both made the right decision. Mostly because of you, my favorite character in the Bible is Joseph, Mary's husband. Of all the fathers and lineages in the Bible Joseph is the only one who is a father by choice. He is the only one who took on that responsibility and position as a matter of choice. Without him Jesus would not have been "The Great Carpenter!" Without him Jesus would not have had access to those things in life only a father of those times could have provided.
So, you are my Joseph! You've taught me many things in this relatively short time we've been in relationship. Although none has been in the area of computers :-) I have learned much from you!
And today, as always, I can say I'm proud you are my Dad!!

Since day one of meeting you through my lovely wife, we hit it off right from the start. You have treated me like a son, and I have looked up to you as a father. As far as I'm concerned, you are my father. I thank God for having you in my life. Your wisdom and guidance have truly been a blessing for me. This is my third try. I thought I posted 2 other comments but neither of them are showing so here goes again. You're the greatest. Thank you for the nuggets of wisdom you planted in my soul over the years. One of YOUR great quotes, "I may not always be right but I'm never wrong," is one that I share with my students on a consistant bases. It has taken me 62 years but I think I've finally got it ! ! ! (Smile) Love you much and may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you real good!
